Warranty

At QualiaWare, we care immensely about quality, and want to provide you with the peace of mind you deserve by providing you protection from any impending problems with the products that you purchase from us. In the unlikely event that the product is found to be defective during the warranty period, we are here to help.

Standard Warranty

QualiaWare warrants that the product you have purchased from QualiaWare or a QualiaWare authorized reseller is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and cared for according to the product instructions during the warranty period. Your QualiaWare product has been manufactured to strict specifications and has been designed for use with QualiaWare authorized accessories and replacement parts. This warranty expressly excludes any defects or damages caused by accessories, replacement parts, and repair services other than those authorized by QualiaWare. Each product has a unique warranty period, which can vary per model and/or the retailer it is purchased from. The warranty period begins from the date of the original purchase. The warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchases the product from you. It excludes all expendable parts. This warranty is valid in the United States only. This warranty is applicable to private residential customers only, and it does not apply to retail and commercial establishments. Specially discounted merchandise may not be covered by our warranty.

To be eligible for service under this warranty, register your product within 30 days of purchase online at www.QualiaWare.com and provide the proof of purchase (such as a copy of the original receipt).

Return authorization and a copy of your dated proof of purchase is required prior to any claims under our warranty. QualiaWare reserves the right to request photographic proof of product defect, and to request that the defective product in question be shipped to QualiaWare to verify the defect, repair the defect, or to aid in quality control efforts.

During the warranty period, QualiaWare will repair or replace defective parts with new parts or, at the option of QualiaWare, serviceable refurbished parts that are equivalent or superior to new parts in performance at no charge for parts. QualiaWare may also replace the product with a comparable product which may be new or refurbished, upon its return. All products that are repaired or replaced by QualiaWare will continue to be warrantied for the remaining period of the original warranty. Repair time is typically 10 - 14 business days from date of receipt.

This Limited Warranty extends only to products purchased from QualiaWare or a QualiaWare authorized reseller. This Limited Warranty does not extend to any product that has been damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse or abuse, such as improper cleaning, neglect, accidental damage, intentional damage, fire, lost or theft; (b) as a result of an act of God; (c) by operation outside the usage parameters stated herein, such as commercial use; (d) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by QualiaWare; (e) by modification or alteration of the product; (f) as a result of war or terrorist attack; or (g) as a result of service by anyone other than QualiaWare or a QualiaWare authorized reseller or authorized agent

The following is a non-exhaustive list of items or occurrences not covered by our warranty:

Products purchased from unauthorized retailers, such as, but not limited to, auctions, auctioneers, discount/closeout stores, third party sellers on Amazon Marketplaces, eBay, Sears Marketplaces, etc.
Products purchased As-Is, refurbished by third party, or from thrift stores, Craig's List, or garage sales.
Dents, scratches, and other conditions to the product that occur over time considered as normal wear and tear.
The base of the unit, battery caps (if applicable), liner rings (if applicable), inner bucket (if applicable), or any problems with the automatic lid caused by abuse, misuse, or natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods and fires).
Defect caused by incorrect operation, installation or not following the operation instructions (as stated in the Set Up Guide).
Defect caused by incorrect voltage or non-standard battery.
Defect caused by vermin or insect infestation.
Defect caused by prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.
Deterioration of the product arising under inappropriate exposure to extreme conditions such as outside weather, heat, or cold.
Parts or products that have been disposed.
All incidental or consequential damages that result from user mishandling or other than its intended use in a typical household capacity.
Contents and batteries in use with the product.
Costs associated with the maintenance, adjustments and installation of the product.
Dissatisfaction with the product.

QUALIAWARE IS PROVIDING THIS WARRANTY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. QUALIAWARE DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Liability arising out of, or relating to the use, or inability to use the product or otherwise in connection with the product, is limited to the amount actually paid by the purchaser. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of such damages, so these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Commercial Warranty

QualiaWare warrants that the product you have purchased from QualiaWare or a QualiaWare authorized reseller is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use during the warranty period of one (1) year. Your QualiaWare product has been manufactured to strict specifications and has been designed for use with QualiaWare authorized accessories and replacement parts. This warranty expressly excludes any defects or damages caused by accessories, replacement parts and repair services other than those authorized by QualiaWare. The warranty period begins from the date of original purchase. Commercial use is defined as any usage outside of a residential household, including, but not limited to, usage in restaurants, hotels, gyms, shopping centers, medical offices, public venues, or any office for business. The warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone who subsequently purchase or receive the product from you. It excludes all expendable parts. This warranty is valid in the United States only. Specially discounted merchandise may not be covered by our warranty.
